Leysin Superpipe OPEN!

Eh oui, le moment que tant de monde attendait est arrivé. Le SuperPipe de Leysin est ouvert! Cette année le monstre est énorme avec des murs de plus de 5.50m. C’est Gérald Fritsch qui est à la tête de ce projet avec l’aide de toute une équipe composée de Raymond, Steven, David, Romain, … Le weekend s’annonce énorme à Leysin avec le prochain shape du pipe vendredi soir 12-02-2010, la ligne de rails terminée (BONK inclus), ligne rouge terminée avec 2 kicks de 10 mètres, ligne bleue parfaite et pour finir le fameux gros téton avec 16 mètre de flat monstre kické. Un dernier module arrivera bientôt pour finaliser le park et ceci avec un 2ème kick dans la ligne noire. On vous attend nombreux ce weekend à LEYSIN!!!!!!! And the moment you all’ve been waiting for, the opening of the Leysin SuperPipe. The monster is huge with walls reaching over 5,50m. It’s Gérald who is at the head of this project with the help of Raymond, Steven, David, Romain, … The weekend looks incredible here in Leysin, with the next shape of the pipe Friday night 12-02-2010, the rails line finalized with the BONK, the blue line in perfect condition, the red line with 2 medium 10m kickers and to finish, the Big Teton with a 16 meter flat. DJ Mart & DJ Birch au Lynx Bar, Samedi 13 Février

Ce Samedi 13 février 2010, DJ Mart & DJ Birch seront au bar le Lynx pour soirée “Strictly HipHop”! Oui du HipHop underground, old school et new school qui vous fera dire, “YO YO YO” ou “Whoomps there it is”. Venez nombreux les écouter dès 22h00! “And if you don’t know, now you know!”

This Saturday, February 13th 2010, DJ Mart & DJ Birch will be spinning the wheels of steel for a strictly hiphop night. Yes hiphop, old school, underground and new school. Come and party! “And if you don’t know, now you know!”

Rail session du 3-02-2010

Il y a quelques jours, les shapers David et Romain ainsi que 3 riders, Tonton, Romain 2 et Yannick se sont rencontrés dans le park pour faire une petite session de fin de journée dans la ligne de rails. Comme mentionné auparavant, cette ligne et vraiment magnifique et se compose des modules suivants: C-Rail, Straight rail flat, Straignt rail down, Up avec sortie en kick et un Flat down. Pour le reste, le pipe restera malheureusement encore fermé quelques jours avec les grosses précipitations de neige d’aujourd’hui et de demain. Concernant les kicks, 1 nouveau kick rouge/noir et prêt avec un flat de 13 mètres. Bon ride!

A few days ago, the two shapers and a few riders met up for a little rail session in the park. As mentioned previously, the rail line is sick and is composed of the following modules: C-Rail, Straight rail flat, Straignt rail down, Up with kicked exit and a Flat down. Concerning the pipe, it will unfortunately remain closed due to the big snow dump taking place as we speak. Jump wise, one new kicker is up with a 13 meter flat which looks sweet! Later!

Le C-Rail est en place!

Depuis hier, le C-rail est en place dans la ligne de rails. Ceci complète presque cette ligne à l’exception du Bonk qui arrive ces prochains jours. La ligne de rails est la plus belle qu’on aie jamais vu à Leysin. Côté Superpipe, les dernières nouvelles sont réjouissantes pour une ouverture probable pour ce dimanche 7 Février. Malgré ça, la météo dictera si ceci peu bel et bien avoir lieu.

Starting yesterday, the C-Rail is up. This completes the rail line for the season with the exception of the bonk coming soon. This is the sweetest rail line Leysin has ever seen. Concerning the superpipe, it should open on Sunday yet the weather will be the judge.
