Giant X Tour 2010 en image!

Une fois de plus, le Giant X Tour est monté d’un niveau cette année avec des riders poussant toutes les limites, spécialement dans le big air. Un spectacle grandiose c’est mis en place avec des 1080°, cork, mac twist, superwoman, et bien plus encore. Les podiums furent les suivants: PODIUM FINAL BIG AIR SNOWBOARD Garçons, 1. Remo Stegger Berufsschue Ru?ti ZH, 2. David Bezençon ETM ébéniste VD, 3. Elias Poletti Kantonsschule Sargans GR. PODIUM FINAL BIG AIR SKI Garçons, 1. Steven Hager CFP Sion VS, 2. Marc Welschinger Kantonsschule Sargans GR, 3. Arnold Robi Beruffschule Uri UR. Chez les filles, Camilla Berra a gagné le ski et Tiziana Casutt a gagné le snowboard. On vous donne dors et déjà rendez-vous l’année prochaine pour le Giant X Tour 2011.
This year’s Giant X Tour brought the highest level ever seen, specially in the Big Air contest. Tricks such as 1080°, Corks, Mc Twists, and superwoman were stumped. New Real Production – part 1

Cette saison, les riders de New Real Production se font un peu plus discret que les autres années. Pourquoi? Simplement parce qu’ils prévoient la sortie d’un film incroyable lors du prochain LeysinPark Rail & Video en automne. Malgré ça, ils nous ont fait un superbe édit du début de l’hiver principalement dans les snowparks de Leysin et du Glacier 3000. Les riders sont, Christophe Baer, Yannick Guillermin, Romain Erard, Benjamin Friant, Manu Roulet, Dylan Forde, David Mathieu, Tonton Holland. MERCI les gars!
This season, the riders from New Real Production have been a little more quiet than usual. Why? Simply because they’re preparing a sick movie for the LeysinPark Rail & Video this coming fall. Although that’s true, they have shared with us a sweet edit of their beginning of the season in the Leysin and Glacier 3000 snowparks. The riders are, Christophe Baer, Yannick Guillermin, Romain Erard, Benjamin Friant, Manu Roulet, Dylan Forde, David Mathieu, Tonton Holland. Thanks guys!

Ça faisait longtemps que nous voulions vous présenter un plan du park de cette année. Marci à Yannick Guillermin, voici le plan du park 2009-2010 comme vous pouvez le trouver aujourd’hui. Comme toujours, cette espace est composé de 3 zones, blue line – red line – black line. Un grand merci à Yannick et un grand big up à Steven, David, Romain, et Gérald pour leur travail.

Voici quelques images du Champs Open, le vendredi durant la partie OPEN de l’event. Le but de cette journée était d’offrir, à qui voulait, la possibilité de ce qualifier pour les finales du samedi avec le Pros invités.

Le « SHOOT’EM » est un concours de photos amateur autour du thème du ski freestyle et du snowboard. Il se déroule durant une journée sur le domaine skiable de Villars – Gryon – Les Diablerets – Glacier 3000. La participation au « SHOOT’EM » se fait par équipe d’un ou au maximum deux skieur(s)/snowboardeur(s)/ accompagné d’un photographe. Toutes les informations pour participer plus bas ou sur le site de www.isbc.ch.
The « SHOOT’EM » is an event for amateur photographers on the theme of freestyle skiing and snowboarding. It takes place during 1 day in the ski areas of Villars – Gryon – Les Diablerets – Glacier 3000. You need to be a team to participate with 1-2 riders and 1 photographer. Aujourd’hui, le français Johann Baisamy a gagné la 19ème édition du Nescafé Champs Open. C’est sous un ciel tourmenté avec de la neige et du vent qu’il a vaincu le Superpipe de Leysin. Le suisse Patrick Burgener a pris la 2ème place et pour finir le podium, Maxence Tevelle, le français, a terminé 3ème. Bravo à tous les riders présents et à l’organisation qui ont fait un travail incroyable. Demain l’ambiance sera plus relax avec le contest du “Buddy System” qui a pour but de faire rider 2 potes en même temps dans le pipe. And the winner of the 19th Nescafé Champs Open is Johann Baisamy. It’s in tough weather that the finals took place with snow and wind. Nonetheless the riders had a great time with 2nd place from the Swiss rider, Patrick Burgener and 3rd for the french, Maxence Tevelle. Thanks to all the riders and the organizing committee for a great contest. Tomorrow will be time to relax with the Buddy System contest which means two riders ride the pipe at the same time. Le Champs Open a amené du beau temps aujourd’hui pour les qualifications Open pour la finale de demain. Le spectacle était au rendez-vous avec la présence des meilleures riders amateurs de Suisse et d’ailleurs. Les 10 premiers de cette journée ont été qualifiés pour la finale de demain et rideront avec les Pro invités. Cette finale aura lieu de 13h00 à 14h00 avec les qualifications le matin. Côté soirée, Samedi sera la “Back to the Roots” party avec Billy the Artist, DJ’s Idem, Key & JP et pour finir un groupe de ROCK, the “21st Century Schizoid Men” spécialement assemblé pour la soirée avec le batteur de Sens Unik et beaucoup d’autres musiciens réputés. Venez nombreux faire la FIESTA!!!
Today, the Champs Open came with sunshine and a sick event. The best amateur riders were here from Switzerland & elsewhere. The first 10 guys will be riding with the Pros and the big finals tomorrow. These will take place between 13h00 & 14h00 with the qualifications in the morning. Saturday night will be the “Back to the Roots Party” with Billy the Artist, DJ’s Idem, Key & JP as well as a Rock band, “21st Century Schizoid Men”. Come and enjoy tomorrow with us!!!
