Il y a quelques semaines, notre sponsor “Burton” a sorti son nouveau site web qui regroupe toutes les infos sur le Team Burton. Ce site présente un nouveau type de forum qui connecte les Pro Riders au public via des vidéos, et un contenu important d’infos.
L’équipe de Burton voulaient faire un nouveau filme complet pour la saison, mais ont pensés que des news, videocasts et autres infos plus régulières seraient plus intéressantes pour le publique actuel.

The Liftline is a brand new online forum for snowboarders to connect with Burton pro riders on a whole other level, through a constant stream of new team video and editorial content.
“We thought about doing another movie, but it felt like a steady flow of fresh content might be a better way to go,” says Jake Burton, Founder and CEO of Burton Snowboards. “The intent of The Liftline is to keep riders current on what our team is up to on a continuous basis. I’m sure there will be a learning curve, but it feels like a solid direction.”

Halloween in Leysin

Ce weekend d’Halloween débute vendredi soir au bar le Lynx avec DJ Mushroom Jack tout droit des Philippines. Il nous présentera dès 22h00 une soirée DubStep et heavy beats qui servira d’échauffement pour Samedi soir. On poursuit Samedi au Lynx avec une soirée déguisée avec DJ’s, cocktails, et ambiance sanglante et mortuaire. (:
Une soirée d’Halloween sera aussi proposée au bar le Yeti avec psycho shots, yeti shots et musique!

This Halloween weekend begins this Friday at the Lynx bar with a little warm-up by DJ Mushroom Jack from the Philippines. He will be presenting a Dub-Step night with heavy beats and sick remixes. We continue on Saturday night at the Lynx with a Halloween Costume party with DJ’s, cocktails, and a scary, freaky, vibes.
A Halloween party will also take place at the Yeti Bar with music, psycho shots that will really make you go crazy this time and much more.

World Premier of “Time is Money”

Samedi dernier, le Crew de NRP a présenté leur dernier filme; “TIME IS MONEY” au bar le YETI. Cette soirée eu un énorme succès avec plus de 100 personnes présentes et une ambiance du tonnerre. Voici quelques photos de la soirée. Big Up!

Ouverture du Glacier 3000!

Le domaine skiable de Glacier 3000 ouvre samedi 30 octobre. Les skieurs et snowboarders pourront se faire plaisir, dans un premier temps, au téléski du Dôme et au snowpark. Dans le snowpark, plusieurs lignes de niveaux différents avec des tables, des rails ainsi que des boxes sont à disposition et feront battre le cœur de chaque snowboarder et freeskier un peu plus fort.
Les fondus de ski, snowboard, freeride et freestyle peuvent respirer : la saison d’hiver 2010/2011 débute à Glacier 3000 dès samedi 30 octobre. Les 10 installations et les 25 kilomètres de pistes ouvriront au fur et à mesure, selon les conditions d’enneigement, et seront en exploitation jusqu’au 8 mai 2011.
Sur le site internet www.glacier3000.ch, l’état des pistes et des installations sera constamment actualisé. Informations disponibles également à la caisse du col du Pillon au numéro de téléphone +41 (0)24 492 09 23 et sur l’infoline +41 (0)848 00 3000.
Les abonnements de saison “Gstaad Mountain Ride” et “Alpes Vaudoises” seront valable dès le 1er novembre 2010.
The glacier ski area „Glacier 3000“ opens its ski season on Saturday, October 30th. Currently, the Dôme ski lift and parts of the Snow Park are available to skiers and snowboarders.
Skiers, Snowboarders, Freeriders and Freestylers can relax. Glacier 3000 starts the winter season on Saturday, October 30th. For the time being, the Dôme ski lift and the Snow Park are open. There are several lines of a different level with tables, rails as well as boxes ready for use. They get the adrenaline in every snowboarder and free skier going.
Depending on snow conditions, the rest of the 10 installations and 25 km of ski runs will be made available and remain open until May 8th, 2011. The status of available runs and installations will be regularly updated on www.glacier3000.ch. One can also call the cable car station on Col du Pillon, Tel. +41 (0)24 492 09 23 and Infoline +41 (0) 848 00 3000, to get an update of current conditions.
As of November 1st, 2010 the seasonal ski passes for „Gstaad Mountain Rides“ and “Alpes Vaudoises” will be valid.
Concours “Design It”

Le concours “Design It” pour le Champs Open 2010 tourne à block ces jours avec plus de 20 planches déjà créées. Les participants viennent de partout en Suisse dont 4 designs de la région Leysin-Les Mosses-Les Diablerets. Le premier design nous vient de Zoé Guillermin, le 2ème de Marc Pull-UP, le 3ème de Nico Tille des Mosses et le 4ème de Myriam Pichard des Diables. Votez pour ces 4 planches pour leur offrir une chance de l’avoir réellement construite et sur la neige cet hiver. Si tu n’a toujours pas créer un design, fonce sur le site de “Design It“, télécharge le chablons et fait marcher ta tronche! Big up aux trois!
The art contest “Design It” is going bonkers these days with already 20 boards designed and more to come. There are 4 designs coming from this area, the first from Zoé Guillermin, the second from Marc Pull-Up, the third from Nico Tille and the 4th from Mimi. These 4 are already well ranked but could use an extra push with your vote. Check it out on “Design It“, download the frame work and start designing your own to have a chance to ride it this season. Cette année, le crew the Jackson Hole, “Teton Gravity Research” nous sortent 2 grosses productions. La première avec du Ski nommé “Light the Wick” filmé en HD et aussi disponible en 3D. La 2ème, “Depper” avec en star, Jeremy Jones, le freerider qui découvre les montagne à pied dans des lignes totalement folles. Teton Gravity Research is proud to announce a partnership with Jeremy Jones on a two-year snowboard project titled Deeper. The legendary eight-time Big Mountain Rider of the Year winner has been working with TGR since its inception in 1996. Jones and the TGR Team have spent the last 15 years pioneering first descents in remote mountain ranges around the world and documenting them on film. “We started the company in the mountains and we have always stayed true to the big mountain side of the sport when the rest of the world was moving in a different direction. This collaborative film effort with Jeremy will be the first of its kind; a true pure riding film made deep in the mountains,” says TGR co- founder Todd Jones.
Jeremy and many other top freeriders including Jonaven Moore, Travis Rice and Xavier De La Rue will travel to remote ranges around the world as they attempt to push Big Mountain Riding to the next level.

New Rails at LeysinPark

Hier, notre fournisseur de rails nous a fait parvenir une petite photo de notre nouveau pipeline qui nous attend dans son entrepôt. Il risque d’être un des modules phare dans le park cette année. Il proposera un niveau un peu plus élevé que les modules actuelles et permettra à tous de perfectionner leurs niveaux. Il mesure 6 mètres de long et sera présent au LeysinPark “Rail & Video” le 6 Nov. prochain. Deux autres nouveautés seront présente dans le snowpark cette année ainsi qu’au “Rail & Video”; 2 tables de Pique-Nique. Avec tout ça, on risque bien de s’éclater un max!
Yesterday, our supplier of rails sent us a little picture of our new pipeline awaiting us at his production plant. This new rail is 6 meters long and will already be used during the “Rail & Video” on Nov. 6th 2010. Furthermore, we are still awaiting our other two modules; 2 picnic tables which we will also use at the event. All this sounds like some sick shredding this season!
